Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland join Apple Pay, Gringotts remains undecided

Now even more people can drain their cash with the tap of a wrist

The number of UK banks joining the Apply Pay party continues to grow, as three more money houses join the tap 'n' pay roster.

Customers of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland hit up various social media sites to say that their cards had successfully been added to Apple Pay.

No official announcement from any of the three banks have taken place, but unless multiple people are lying for no good reason, we expect everything to be properly announced shortly.

Launching in July with support across 250,000 stores, Apple Pay went on to be embraced by TFL, letting users traverse the city by bus or tube, with a suave tap of their iPhones or Apple Watches.

With the transaction limit raised to £30 from £20 last month too, there's never been a better time to go contactless.

As for when Barclaycard will join in? We have no idea, but it still looks set on pushing its own bPay solution for the time being.
