It would be cool if you could record game footage(by going to the xmb during gamplay) at 100% quality to, say, HD Mpeg2, where it could then be transfered to a PC for editing.

Amazon are now taking pre-orders (http://tinyurl.com/6jt3z3), I've already got mine in as my old Humax doesn't upscale and won't do HD :(.
