HTC Magic - pics and video
We've just hightailed it back from HTC's stand with some shots and video of the awesome new Android–packing Magic. The model we played with is a pre-production effort, with the buttons due a design tweak before it lands on Vodafone in Spring. All the official deets are over in the news feed now!

This is what the G1 should've been. Still not enough 'wow' factor to tempt me from my iPhone though.

I think I need to play with one of these to be convinced of how good some people say it is. No video recording and no 3.5mm jack means I wouldn't even consider it, but I haven't used Android, can it compensate for the aforementioned feature omissions?
I will say one thing, it looks nice and has individuality in a sea of black that is the current mobile phone market.

i miss my g1, it got ran over and stopped working. This g2 looks awesome and something that would replace the whole in my life, however, its only available on vodafone and they have a 500mb fair usage on thei contracts, will this apply for this phone i wonder? at the moment i am using a nokia 5800 which is ok but not a real replacememnt for the g2. Iwill have to teach my phones the green cross code so this does not happen again.

I hope they dont have ridicolous contracts on this and yes Jjasonbsmith they will have unlimited internet on the contract or else people will just turn around and say hmmm o2.. iPhone, , Got any questions ask:D
