First impressions – Nokia N86 8MP

Nokia's hottest handset this week at MWC is undoubtedly their first 8 megapixel phone, the N86 8MP. Nok has really gone all out to prove it's a stylish device, as much as a blower that can tackle and see of the dual camera challenges of Sony Ericsson and Samsung.

When we first got hold of it, we were bowled over by its slim looks and the stunning shots we were able to get out of its lithe frame. While we won't br throwing away our compact digicam just yet, we'll certainly be leaving it at home a lot more.

In the hand it's light and being S60, it's a breeze to use. The accelerometer impresses and the dual slider action is really slick. Can it see off SE's new Idou? Probably not, but then it's a real photogrpahy afficionados phone, not an all round media powerhouse.
