Apple lining up multi-coloured MacBooks

After last week's MacBook announcement, everyone thought Apple was going to pack up shop and keep us guessing as to what we could expect from MacWorld in Jaunary 2009. Well, it looks like we might be getting another string of new notebooks sooner than we thought.

The chaps at MacWorld have uncovered SKUs at US retailer Best Buy which point to a $999 red MacBook. So a product red edition of the bottom of the range laptop, which would match the same iPod model nicely. More confusingly though, there is talk of a Purple MacBook Pro. Surely not?
