The best Black Friday deals

The American tradition of slashing prices on the day after Thanksgiving is taking hold over here as online retailers throw us a few pre-Christmas deals.

Apple
There are a few deals to shave a little off the prices in the Apple Store today as you can save £31 on an iPad 2 (now from £368) and save £81 each on a MacBook Air (now from £768), MacBook Pro (now from £918) or iMac (now from £918).

But the best deal we've seen on the Apple Store today is the B&W Zeppelin Air, which is slashed by £101 making it £398.

Amazon
We're now at the tail end of Amazon's Black Friday Deals Week, but you may be able to find something you fancy. For instance, the LowePro Fastpack 350 camera and laptop rucksack is reduced by over £30 to £59, and if you keep an eye on Amazon's limited time "Lightning Deals" throughout the day which include an as yet unspecified discount on a lovely 32in Panasonic TX-L32E3B Viera TV at 1pm... as well as a selection of breast pumps at 2pm and a pet nail grinder at 2.20pm.

Currys/PC World
The online arm of the highstreet is also in on the action, and you can find a Kodak Playsport ZX5 for just £79, perfect for capturing your snowbound antics this winter, and the Sony SDR-X16 DBP DAB/DAB+ radio at £63 for listening to the Queen's speech on Christmas Day.
