Crumbs! It's a heated butter knife

Like a hot knife though butter, it is. That's because Warburtons' Toastie Knife is a a heated butter knife to make spreading butter from the fridge as easy as putting a hot knife through... oh, you get the picture.
The knife heats up in thirty seconds to 41.8 degrees Celsuius which – according to toast experts (these apparently exist) – is the ideal heat for spreading butter. Tips on how to spread, including bread choice, are in the video below. The knife is just a prototype for now but if it’s popular and goes on sale we reckon it'll be the best thing since sliced bread. With butter, obviously.

Very nice in theory but, as everyone know, when you use a hot knife for butter, like one straight out of a dishwasher, the knob of butter that's scraped off the block falls off the knife, straight onto the work-top. I'll give this one a miss.
