James Bond Barbican exhibition

Ever wanted to get up close and personal with James Bond's gadgets? You're obviously not a SPECTRE agent, then. The Barbican and EON Productions have teamed up for an exhibition charting the history of cinema's greatest super-spy, from his first appearance in Dr No to the latest Bond flick, Skyfall.

Now pay attention, 007. The show will feature some 400 pieces of movie memorabilia, including storyboards, production artwork and costumes – from suits by Tom Ford to Daniel Craig's blue trunks (hopefully they've given them a wash). Of course, the Bond films' infamous selection of gadgets gets pride of place – from Scaramanga's golden gun to 007's iconic Aston Martin DB5.

Oh, and don't forget to check out the Martini Bar, which will be offering a selection of 007-themed cocktails. In fact, we think we'll be heading there first.

Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style runs from July 6 to September 5, with adult tickets priced £12, concessions priced £10 and under-16s getting in for £8.
