Icon – Bugatti Veyron Sang Bleu speedboat
A giant pen nib? Another civvie spaceship I’ll never go on? I give up…
What on Earth are you talking abou… well, actually we see what you’re getting at. But no, this is a racing boat inspired by Bugatti’s mighty Sang Bleu edition Veyron.
A paintjob and badge do not a good boat make
Wise words indeed, but this beast takes more than just the colour scheme from its four-wheeled counterpart – the single propeller is powered by a quad-turbo W16 engine, translating to a staggering 1000bhp. Try taking that for a spin on the Thames and getting away with it.
Bet I still can’t afford it
No one can. It’s just a concept by designer Ben Walsh so put away your wallet and keep looking at the pretty pictures. We’ll take care of the drooling and hope that Bugatti takes notice.
