I would also check out the sandals at www.InvisibleShoe.com. They're only $25, have more "barefoot-feel," and have the only outsole designed specifically for barefoot running. They're also waterproof and the sole has an aggressive tread. Plus you can pick fun lace colors.

Luna Sandals are also $25 if you want to purchase the DYI option -- which is the same for Invisible Shoes. I have never worn Invisible Shoes, but have been running, hiking and wearing Luna Sandals daily for a year now - they are all I wear anymore, can't say good things enough about them to do them justice and also Barefoot Ted and all the staff at Luna Sandals will bend over backwards to make you happy.
