LG Viewty II official images slip out

We already knew to expect the Viewty II in June, but LG had been pretty good at keeping any images of it under wraps. That was until today, when LG it

Those keen-eyed folk at Electricpig spied an entry on the German LG blog loaded with pics and confirmation of the specs that were banded around last month.

Officially outed as the Viewty Smart, the phone will pack an 8 megapixel camera, 3-inch screen and the same S-Class touchscreen interface seen on the LG Arena.

You'll also benefit from the likes of Wi-Fi, HSDPA and GPS for geotagging your snaps, as well as being able to record video at 720x480 too. Other than that, LG has been tight lipped on what we'll see with regards to built-in storage and formats supported. So it can keep some things quiet.

If the leaked pictures are anything to go on, it seems the Viewty Smart will be exclusive to Orange, however we'll have to see if that's the case in the UK as well.

The blog post has since been removed but luckily we right-clicked and saved as before it was pulled. Let us know your thoughts on the new handset, and be sure to check out our review of the original Viewty as well.
