Despite only being a 25mm at its thinnest point, it packs a 21.5in display that happily copes with full HD, and a pretty unique remote that operates as both an air mouse, games controller, and a Skype phone.

Beyond that the spec gets a little more so-so, with a dual core processor, Wi-Fi and Vista Premiu all on board. Delve deeper into your pocket, though, and you can boost the RAM to 4GB, the storage to 1TB and add a Blu-ray drive.

This will obviously send the price skywards, though the basic model will be starting at a reasonable $999 in the US. We'll bring you more news on a UK release as soon as we get it.
