Lenovo rolls up with new UMPC

Room for another player in the dinky laptop market? Good, because Lenovo’s just outed its very own version, the IdeaPad S10.Currently rocking a

Currently rocking a 10in frame, with a 9in model in the works, the new machine packs in an Atom processor, with two different versions available. One will be home to 512MB of RAM and a 80GB HDD, with a beefier lappie housing 1GB of RAM and a meaty 160GB HDD. That beats the 120GB Aspire One we’ve just peeped.

You’ll get Windows XP inside, as well as Wi–Fi, Bluetooth, a 4–in–1 card reader and 1.3MP webcam. There are plans for a Linux version too. But you’ll probably have to wait some time for that to surface.

For now, it’s due to drop in the US next month, with UK pricing and release dates yet to be confirmed. We’re getting seriously spoiled for choice when it comes to UMPCs, make no doubt about it.
