The online TV service is expected to offer up exclusive video content from music festivals, as well as live studio performances from acts as well.
CBS Interactive, which bought Last.fm in 2007, is planning the move to expand the Last.FM brand, and is planning to link up with current festivals in the UK and Europe for content, or is even considering organising its own.
The content would be accessible through Last.fm, but may also benefit from its own website depending on its popularity.
It’s thought the new service would be included in the current subscription fee for Last.fm, and would also be funded by advertising and sponsorship.
Any plans for any other content is currently unknown, but we’ll be keeping you up to date on all we hear. Let us know what you’d like to see from Last.tv below.
