Kensington KeyFolio case for iPad 5 spotted at IFA

Slim-bezelled iPad Mini-like form factor for the next-gen iPad is basically nailed-on now, isn't it?

Kensington has a new range of tablet cases – and they won’t fit your current 9.7-incher.

Stuff snapped a Kensington KeyFolio Pro Plus case that is tailored to a new slimmer form-factor iPad. The iPad 5? We certainly reckon so, as the appearance of the hole you’ll eventually stick your tablet in is consistent with the leaked images of the iPad 5 chassis we’ve seen so far.

Case in point

As for details on the case itself, the sheepskin-clad KeyFolio Pro Plus features a microfiber inner lining and a removable backlit Bluetooth keyboard with backlit chiclet keys and neat magnetic clasp. Its 380mAh battery supposedly delivers up to 960 hours of working time. There’s no price listed at the time of writing, but we’ll update you as soon as we can.

Things have changed a fair bit since then, although he still gets ribbed for his ongoing respect for 'pioneering' Windows Mobile PDAs. He lives in hope that a new gadget will some day emerge that excites him as much as his Amiga did when he was nine. (The iPhone came pretty close.)
