HTC has finally seen sense – after releasing a whole host of phones sans 3.5mm jack, the phone manufacturer has announced it is set to change its ways.
Previously, audiophiles who wanted to plug their own headphones in to most HTC phones were left having to use the included, and frustratingly rubbish, mini-USB headphones.
That was of course until the Hero, which seems to have saved the day and awakened HTC's awareness to the power of the 3.5mm jack.
The mobile manufacturer spoke of its plans at a recent press event, stating: "The vast majority of devices we launch after Hero will have a 3.5mm jack".
However, HTC did add: "Devices that we have already announced but that still come out after Hero will not necessarily be a part of this change".
