So the DRM-free arm of the iTunes Store – iTunes Plus – launches today, and I’m still completely unimpressed by the whole thing. But it’s not the only change that Steve Jobs has made to his all-conquering music store.
The academic among you might be interested in iTunes U – a section of the store aimed at all you hard working students. If you can drag yourselves away from that scintillating daytime TV and put down your Pot Noodle for a second you’ll find a stack of free lectures, language lessons, lab demos and sports highlights from some of the top unis in the States. You never know, soon you might be able to ignore real lectures altogether.
