iPhone 3G S hits 1 million sales in 3 days

Apple has announced that more than one million people have forked out for its new iPhone 3G S since it launched on Friday.No doubt backed up by strong

No doubt backed up by strong pre-order sales online, stores worldwide confirmed strong interest in the handset, with O2 reporting 50% more sales on the first day than last year's iPhone 3G.

Apple also said that six million customers had downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software in the five days since its release.

"Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs. "With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever".
