iPhone 3.0 to get "up to speed" with Palm Pre

It's just 24 hours until us mobile geeks get a taste of the next–gen iPhone OS. But in the meantime, speculation continues to grow about exactly

Fortunately, Digg's Kevin Rose claims he's got the inside scoop on what we'll be seeing. The man behind a million Mac rumours, says, according to 9to5mac.com, that we'll be seeing integration of copy and paste at long last, with the magnifying glass being used to highlight and move text.

On top of that he makes the somewhat vague assertion that this software bump will bring Cupertino's blower "up to speed with the Palm Pre." However, he also says that 3rd party apps will not be able to run in the background. Kind of a big deal with the Pre.

Anyhow, all will be revealed tomorrow. In the meantime, tell us what you think of iPhone 3.0 down below in the comments section. Or sign up and mouth off in the forums instead.
