The Million Dollar Homepage man has returned. He’s racked up another 1000 by 1000 pixel grid ready to be flogged to gullible advertisers willing to pay for a space on the board of shame. This time, however, there’s a twist. As well as taking bundles of dollars from otherwise sane individuals, he’s now going to be giving a million of it away. Turning the pixelated billboard into a giant scratch card, Tew is vowing to make a random visitor to the site a fellow millionaire. Once the site’s filled, an ad will be selected at random and all visitors who clicked that advert will be entered into the lucky lotto to win the million. Entrants will be limited to 10 clicks per day and will have to endure the wrath of the hundreds of get rich quick schemes and copycat pixel sites that will surely be advertised there. And if you were wondering how the canny student’s going to make his money this time then wonder no more. He’s doubled the price of his pixels to $2, ensuring he’ll pocket a handy second million. Somehow the original site’s line about a poor student paying his way through uni is beginning to look a little thin.
