It turns out that the first in a slew of Android mobiles will actually be smaller than the iPhone 3G, according to more dirt unearthed by Engadget. The US site is desperately trying to find as much new information on the so-caled gphone and has got hold of this FCC document showing the new cell clocking in at 115 x 55mm, compared to the iPhone 3G's 115.2mm x 62.1mm. It may not sound much, but considering pics of the device have previously suggested a phone to make even your granny embarrassed, this is great news. It's prviously been suggested that we'll get an official glimpse of the HTC Dream next month, with a release date scheduled for Octover via T-Mobile. We've learned that this is likely to be a globla rather than a US only release too. We'll bring you any more gossip as soon as we sniff it out ourselves.
