The HTC One's Ultrapixel camera technology and Blinkfeed Sense experience could find its way onto mid-range HTC handsets. That's according to Phil Robertson, head of HTC UK and Ireland, who told Omio that "There is definitely the potential to take it into those spaces."
The core of the 4MP Ultrapixel camera found in the HTC One is the sensor itself, which has a dedicated processing unit that can pick up a lot of the image processing grunt – though Qualcomm's speedy Snapdragon 600 processor beating inside the heart of the One does contribute to its imaging smarts too.
This might suggest that HTC is again looking at releasing mid to low-range handsets as it did with the One S and One V, all of which could have the same imaging prowess as the One flagship. Good news for Android lovers on a budget, we think you'll agree.
