According to the folks at NokNok, ARM, which makes the current set of N–series processors, has been showing off a new processor at London's Symbian Smartphone Show which will let you get 720p pictures straight from your mobile.

While that might sound a but pointless on a 3in screen, when you factor in the TV output on most N–series phones, you're looking at a great way of filming and showing off hi–def to your mates.

The processor can already be found in Archos PMPs, so it shouldn't be too long before we see Nokia getting in on the act, most likely at next February's Mobile World Congress.
