Hands–on video with the Acer Aspire One

The Acer Aspire One is just the latest in what feels like a never–ending flurry of mini–notebooks. But just because the world seems to hav

We got our hands on one yesterday at it’s launch in central London and we have to say we’re mighty impressed, as you can see in our exclusive video review.

Coming in either Linux or XP versions, the Aspire One starts at a mere £199 and will offer you the chance to grab your choice of WiMAX or 3G for web on the go. And that’s on top of regular wireless.

While the 8GB SSD rocks the bottom line models, you can get yourself a 80GB HDD instead if it takes your fancy. There are 3 USB ports, a pair of SD slots and VGA for when you want to get your powwow on in the boardroom.

It’s a beaut’, that’s for sure. But don’t take our word for it. See Tom Wiggins put it through its paces in our video review and see what it’s really made of.
