Google+ updated to run on iPad and iPod Touch

More iOS devices have been let through the door to join the Google+ party

Google's slow-paced rollout of iOS-flavoured apps for its social service Google+ continues today.

Following the iPhone-only release of the Google+ app, there's now good news for sociable iPad and iPod Touch users as the app has received an update allowing it to run on their devices. However those loving the big screen experience may be disappointed as there's no specific iPad app.

The update also includes new Huddle and Stream settings that promise to make it easier to keep a handle on your snowballing Google+ friend base.
