Google Chrome netbook set for 2010?

On the back of generally accepted (and not denied) rumours that Google’s self-branded Nexus One phone is imminent, we’re salivating at rep

According to TechCrunch’s mysterious sources, Google has even gone so far as to issue a hardware manufacturer with detailed specifications for building a Google-branded computer, with a possible release date around this time next year.

Details are sketchy at the moment, but it appears the netbook will be mobile-enabled (natch), and that it won’t just be tied to one mobile carrier.

We’d also bet that it’ll be a fast-booting, flash storage-based machine, and that you’ll do most of your everyday computing via the cloud. Using Google’s own apps, of course.
