We've been playing with Chromium, the developer builds of Chrome for Mac for sometime and they're getting pretty good. It's no surprise then that Google has confirmed that Chrome for Mac OS X will be out this year.
A release date during 2009 means Google only has three months left to get Chrome on to Macs. But with the developer builds seeming pretty solid it should easily achieve its goal.
Currently Google Chrome has nabbed 2.8 percent of the the worldwide browser market but bringing it to Macs will help to boost that number a wee bit.
