Google bringing voice search to iPhone

See, the Big G is about to unleash voice search for the iPhone. That means you'll be able to ask your phone a question when the app is open, Google will do its thing and then give you a string of results.

The thinking seems to be that people don't want to constantly tap away on the sometimes tricksy touchscreen keypad and would rather bleat their requests for the nearest pub or train station into the mouthpiece instead.

Word is that it'll be yours to get today for free. And on top of that. Google is said to be plotting voice search for S60 phones, meaning Nokia and Samsung will soon be playing nice with your increasingly bizarre demands.
