Apple has generally done a good job at keeping spy snaps of the iPhone leaking out ahead of time, but over the weekend some pictures landed that may just be the fourth gen iPhone.
First up Engadget posted some photos sent to them from a tipster who said they'd found the phone prototype on the floor of a bar.
First dismissed as a Japanese fake knock-off, it was only when Engadget noticed a similar looking model of the iPhone tucked away in an iPad snapshot from the beginning of the year, that we sat up and paid attention.
Although the front has no dramatic differences, the back and sides of the phone have done away with the curves of the current iPhone and opted for an angular, aluminium finish on the edges, and a glass back similar to the MacBook Pro trackpad. It's considerably thicker too.
Engadget also says the device had 80GB storage and a front facing camera, and also noted its similarity to a spyshot leaked by TUDream on Twitter in February.
Could this really be the next iPhone? What do you think to the new design? Let us know below.
