Facebook for iPhone ups the ante on privacy

But how does it compare to the new Facebook site changes?

Anything Google+ can do, Facebook reckons it can do better – and its got 750 million users. So it was no surprise that after the love for the Google+ Circles feature, Facebook had a privacy revamp, making posts, comments and images available behind closed doors to select groups of friends.

With Facebook for iPhone 3.5, users of the app can now control who can see which posts whilst social networking on their smartphone. You can also tag friends and places in posts, mimicking the latest features to go live on the site, plus the Profile and Group walls have had a lick of paint. It could finally be safe accept friend requests from your parents.
