Google postpones October 29th event

We’re not sure how many surprises are left for Google’s big reveal. We’ve seen pictures and specs (and a manual) for the company’s Samsung-built Nexus 10 tablet, pricing information for its Nexus 7 32GB edition, and Android Authority has uncovered UK pricing for LG’s Nexus 4 smartphone.

But the Big G has confirmed to US gadget blog Engadget that the event won’t be taking place as scheduled, owing to Hurricane Sandy’s predicted East Coast arrival.

We’ll keep you posted about the new date and time when we hear. Until then, we’ll have to eke out an existence on the final scraps of rumour doing the rounds.
