The big pull for Dell's Latitude Z is not only is it attractively skinny at half an inch thin, but it is also capable of wireless charging when paired up with its accompanying stand, using the same tech as Palm Pre's Touchstone charging dock.
However, the dock doesn't just charge up your laptop. It also allows you to wirelessly connect to a separate monitor, and all of your peripherals – such as your mouse and printer – can be connected directly to the dock rather than your laptop. Pretty clever.
Wireless charging aside, with a 16-inch screen, the Latitude Z is also one of the lightest in its category at 2kg, and is being costed up starting from £1,319.
This price includes a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR3 of RAM and 64GB SSD.
You'll also get a 2 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth connectivity and a DVD slotload drive, upgradeable to a Blu-ray drive if you fancy.
It's worth noting that the wireless charging stand is not included in the price however, and you'll need to forking out an extra £159 for that if you want to get rid of the cables from your computing life.
