More fully-featured than the likes of Acer's Revo, the Inspiron Zino HD instead steps up to the likes of Apple's Mac Mini, but starting from a more reasonable price tag of £299 (instead of the Mac Mini's £499 starting price).

Measuring just 7.8" x 7.8" x 3.4", the Zino HD carries on the Dell tradition of being able to customise your machine to your own requirements, both on the outside and under the hood.

First up there is a choice of 10 interchangeable colours , and you can make your machine as powerful as you want with your pick of AMD Athlon processors, a hard drive of up to 1TB and 8GB of RAM.

You can also choose which OS you'd rather run from Windows Vista, 7 or Ubuntu Linux, and the machine will come packing a four-in-one memory card reader, four USB ports and built-in Wifi.

The Zino gets its HD tag thanks to the optional Blu-ray drive and HDMI connectors which will allow you to hook your mini PC up to your computer for watching movies in full HD quality.
