Dell developing Android-based "internet device"

Rumours have been swirling for some time about a Dell smartphone, however new reports are suggesting the company is developing a pocket-friendly, Andr

CNET picked up on a report from The Wall Street Journal that said two people who had seen early prototypes of the device described it as looking like Apple's touch, but a bit bigger.

Having started working on the device about a year ago, it's rumoured that it could go on sale in late 2009, and even though it isn't thought to have any phone capabilities, Dell has reportedly considered selling it through a mobile-phone carrier.
