The Daily to launch on to your iPad on February 2

Had enough of the mystique surrounding News Corp’s digital plans? Let your curiosity be satisfied after the weekend

The Daily, News Corp’s made-with-Apple iPaper, is to launch on Tuesday, February 2. It’ll be the first major news organisation to take the leap of producing a specific title for iPad and we’ll have to hope it’s done with a bit more panache than the paywall effort that hit Times Online and The Sun last year. Rupert Murdoch will be on stage at New York’s Guggenheim Museum with Apple’s Eddy Cue (vice president, internet services) to dole out the details come Tuesday. And we’ll be here, passing them on.
