In the early hours of Monday morning a gang burgled the flagship Apple Store in Covent Garden. The smash-and-grab crew of between seven and fourteen hooded moped riders crashed through the store windows at 1am before speeding off with their swag – expected to include the new iPhone 4S, as well as iPads, iPods and MacBooks. Police are appealling for witnesses, but at the moment their best man on the job is our Stuff blogger Robert Shoesmith who – as part of his iPhone 5 Experiment – is camped outside the store queuing for an iPhone 4S. We'll be catching up with him later to see what went down. Two people have been arrested.
