Wii–style PS3 controller surfaces online

Well what have we here? Sony’s been rumoured to be readying a Wii–style PS3 remote for some time, and now here’s an official looking pic to back it up.

Unearthed by Electric Pig, the controller was first spotted on manufacturer site, Just Play. Billed as a ‘Wireless Handgun’, it clearly shows a new remote slotting into a gun attachment.

With E3 only a week away, could we be looking at the first real shots of the PS3 remote? It looks remarkably likely. We’ve got a call in with Sony and will bring you any news as we get it.
