Universal joins Paramount and Warner on Xbox LIVE movie downloads

Xbox 360 Universal is the latest to sign on Microsoft’s dotted line to offer movie downloads to flick-hungry Xbox LIVE users. Joining Paramount and Warner Bros, Universal’s offering is a meagre thirty films at the moment but set to expand quickly.

Get your mitts on blockbusters like Incredible Hulk and Wanted or classics like Scarface and…er…Childsplay 3 for as low as £2.08, ranging up to £4.50 for HD new releases.

And if you’re a game purist when it comes to your 360, Microsoft are promising exclusive downloadable content for a clutch of big name games. Gears of War 2, GTA IV, Fallout 3 and Fable 2 will all get the expansion treatment, while party game Lips gets a Coldplay song pack.
