Touchscreen Asus Eee PC lined up

Asus just won't stop rolling out the goods. Having delivered the Eee PC 900HA last week, and the S101 yesterday, the Taiwanese tech titan is now planning to unveil its first touchscreen Eee PC next year.

According to DigiTimes, one chatter–happy exec from Asus has let slip that the new machines will be good–to–go at the start of next year, with CES the most likely place it'll be unveiled.

Rather than all–new models, it looks like they'll be updated versions. So expect the likes of the 901 and 1000 series to coming rocking the tech.
