Toshiba preps Satellite NB105 netbook

Blimey, yet another big player’s getting in on the netbook action. With Samsung and Dell both showing off their 9 inches of laptop–based joy, Toshiba has just weighed in with their Satellite NB105.

The 8.9in machine, unearthed from Toshiba Mexico by Elecronista packs in all the usual features you’d expect from a netbook – with an Intel Atom, 1Gb of RAM and up to 120GB HDD. There aren’t any plans for a SSD version though, sadly.

In addition to that little lot, you’ll find Windows XP, three USB ports and Ethernet, but no Bluetooth or 3G. Boo to that.

Apparently, we can expect to get our mitts on one in November, with a knockdown price being bandied about too. What this will actually be here in the UK remains a mystery. We’re onto Tosh for more info, so keep ‘em peeled for more as we get it.
