PSP Wi–Fi store incoming
With the PS3 download store official, but still a decent dream in the UK, Sony has announced it’s about to unleash the PSP Wi–Fi store this autumn. According to PSP Fanboy, the new offering will be part of a firmware upgrade in the next few weeks.
On top of that, you’ll be able to hook your Sony handheld up to your PS3 and use a new ‘infrastructure mode’ in certain games. Details remain sketchy, but this could mean additional voice and texting abilities for titles including Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. All sounds a little vague to us, but time will tell.
At the moment, Sony Japan is the only branch making this official, but with recent firmware release being global affairs, expect this to hit the UK around the same time.
With the recent release of the PSP 3000, it looks like Sony’s found a new lease of life for its aging console. Now, how about that hard–drive version?
