PSP phone ready for Christmas 2009?

Christmas 2008 seems a mile off and Christmas 2009 is barely a glint in our gadget–hungry eyes. Yet that is supposedly the date that we’ll finally clasp a PSP phone in our clammy palms.
According to the unlikely source of Marketing Week, The Big S is readying a launch at the rear end of next year, shoehorning mobile tech into its slimmed–down handheld.
Rumour has it that this will not be made in conjunction with Sony Ericsson, so we can banish any thoughts of it resembling the F305 gaming phone that we copped a feel of last week.
Our opinion? It’s entirely possible. Obviously, Sony’s saying nothing, but we can think of nothing better than being able to play quality games and make calls on the move via one killer gadget.

oh no!, this is going to be another N-gauge story where the phone can neither game, nor work as a phone well...

Ohhhh, my friend used to have one of them. It majorly sucked, and was so big it looked like you were holding a brick to your ear.

No way would Sony CES be allowed to release a phone product without Sony-Ericsson being involved and credited.
