New cheap Apple MacBook coming soon?

A new bargain Apple MacBook is rumoured to be heading in our direction in the near future. Last week, we brought you all the goss on a new range of thinner, cheaper iMacs, which might even be packing Blu-ray.It now seems that the MacBook will be following suit, with AppleInsider reporting models with a thinner polycarbonate body, an improved battery life and – best of all – a cheaper price tag.According to the site, the snowy stylings will remain, but we'll see "a thinner, sleeker enclosure". There's also some hopeful talk of recession-friendly pricing.Given that the current model is around the £750 mark, we could see a more pocket-friendly price bracket announced soon. There's no word of a release date yet, but given that Christmas is lurking around the corner, our bets are on a 2009 release. Keep watching that Apple Store guys...What do you think?
