MSI Wind blows in with new models
With the Asus Eee PC multiplying quicker than a pair of rabbits on an oyster diet, arch rival MSI was feeling a bit left behind. So to bolster its range of Wind mini-notebooks us limeys have been treated to three new models.
Unfortunately, we're not about to see any major overhauls or add-ons, it's more tiny tweaks and paint jobs, but the changes begin with a new Linux-packing model that'll go on sale for a suitably dinky price – just £269.
Potential netbook buyers with a thirst for storage could do worse than directing their attention towards the second new variant with a newly expanded 120GB hard drive. That's up 40GB on the original but with the same £329 price tag.
Rounding off this trio of netbook treasures is a standard Wind, running XP and with an 80GB hard drive but with a clichéd pink paint job.
