Depends on how much more we get out of the second generation!

IF the iPad 3 rumours are true then I'm most probably springing for the HP Touchpad... WebOS is far too sexy to resist and Apple are taking the piss if they release one so soon after the iPad 2 announcement... There will be a lot of enraged non-tech heads out there who spring for the iPad 2 only to find out that in less than a year their purchase will be obsolete.

Oh and I might hold out for the iPad 4.... I hear it can drastically reduce high cholesterol levels, make hazelnut ice cream and sporadically eject high powered bursts of unicorn glitter via a proprietary 'happiness port' :p

What's the sense behind a 6-9 month iPad 2 before a new generation......... do you really think there will be another version THIS YEAR! Really?

My guess is, that we will see nothing revolutionary today. They will proporly just announce a tablet which is what Ipad1 should have been

No screen res change! Battery life remains more important.

Think people may be shocked when they see this product, not going to be much of a jump apart from thunderbolt/lightpeak….. we shall see though, hopefully apple will pull something out of the hat

The thing is apple is already leader in this Market so I see a few updates to keep things ticking over like the 3G to 3GS then I big revamp on the ipad3 whenever that may be as that will give them time to see what everyone else is bringing out then blow them out the water

I opted for a "pink screen of death" this year since I think it brings out the pixels in the HD screen a bit more.

Truth is guys and girls... nobody know what will happen at 6p.m but one thing is certain, the iPad 2 will sell by the boat load; regardless of the spec. Apple makes very good kit. It may not be always ground-breaking, but it it will sell!!

I can't imagine there will be much new, apple are always very slow at getting technology rolled out - although, when they do, it generally works quite well :D

It would be quite nice to have a lenticular screen. But that'll probably be for the iPad 9 in 2015....

Obviously will cost more here in the UK than in the rest of Europe or the USA. We seem to be suckers for overpriced goods in this country! Not that it matters to me, I shall be sticking with my Galaxy Tab as it works great.
