First pic of Asus Eee PC 1004DN spotted

Asus has released the first official photo of its forthcoming Eee PC 1004DN, the first model in the Eee PC range to come with an optical disc drive.

Aside from the DVD drive, the Asus Eee PC 1004DN stands out from the Eee pack by virtue of its premium quality finish, security-conscious fingerprint scanner and the same typist-friendly chiclet keyboard that's used on the Eee PC 1000HE and the newly-announced 1002H.

Spec-wise there's a standard Atom 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of memory, 120GB hard disk drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Asus hasn't given up the goods on a UK release date or price just set, but we'd expect to see more of this DVD-toting 1004DN very soon.
