Facebook iPhone app update coming next week?
According to the social network naboobs at TechCrunch, an update version of the Facebook iPhone app is set to hit the iTunes App Store imminently.
Facebook developer Joe Hewitt told his Twitter followers: "The app is pretty much done – we're just working on translating it into a bunch of languages."
The new Facebook iPhone app is set to include a News Feed that more closely mirrors the one you get in the full fat browser version. It'll also add the ability to like items and a new home screen that you can customise.
The revision of the Facebook iPhone app will also let you manage event on the go and will include support for video straight from an iPhone 3GS

I use my 'Crackbook' app all the time, but am frustrated by some of its limitations, so welcome an update to its functionality.

Check out their Facebook page <http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=6628568379> and you'll see all the new functions. apparently push notification will not be ready for this update but will be for the next... but then again.... they've been saying its 98% done since 1st July
