Asus plans for the Eee PC get harder to follow by the day. Now the Taiwanese master of all things small and laptop shaped has confirmed plans to release the Eee PC 900A, which we reported on a few weeks back.As suspected, the new machine rocks the same bod’ as the Eee PC 900 with one crucial technical difference – it comes packing Intel’s Atom chip, now the standard practice for all wannabe netbooks.According to EeePC.net, it’ll come with either 8GB or 16GB SSDs, 1GB of RAM and weigh in at just under a kilo. And as if that wasn’t enough, Asus is also said to be prepping a purple version to go with the regular black and white offerings. It’s due to cost around £250 when it launches, most likely at the back end of next month.
