Dell Streak gets a SIM-free price

In the market for a 3G tablet? Don’t fancy being tied to a network? Still want to be able to afford a pint at the end of the week? Dell has got your back.

Its 5in Streak is available direct from the company’s site for £450, free of lengthy contracts or lockdowns to single operators. You can still pick one up cheaper (from £400 PAYG) from O2, but if you’d rather be on a different network or just feel footloose, this is your answer.
