The BBC is relaunching its iPlayer service on the Nintendo Wii, but this time with its own dedicated Wii Channel.

The iPlayer has been available on the console since April 2008, but after many reported probems, the Beeb hoping that the channel’s new full screen user interface will help improve things.

You’ll obviously need to have your console connected up to your broadband connection to run the channel, and you’ll be able to download it from the Wii Shop for free.

The BBC iPlayer Channel will launch on 18 November, and will provide a "faster, high quality and improved viewing experience" according to the Beeb director Erik Huggers.

Will you watch iPlayer on your Wii? Let us know what you think below?
